You got the ZCT weapon line up and powers, the perks, tougher zombies, and death at around ever corner. ![]() Now a lot of maps before the UGX mod used the ZCT mod (primarily ZCT 2.0), and nazi_zombie_Mario_64 is one of them. That is not to say that the ZCT mod still isn't fun, it sure has a nostalgia charm to it, it just served its days and is now outclassed by future maps and mods. The name of the map is simply nazi_zombie_Mario_64, which uses the ZCT mod which was pretty popular before the UGX mod came in and pretty much every map maker switched to that if they want modern guns. But some of them need you to put the content inside the folder directly by yourself, you download the stuff provided, usually extract the compressed file, and put the extracted root mods/maps folder inside "mods" folder previously mentioned.I remember browsing years ago finding a map called nazi_zombie_Mario_64, which was a Super Mario 64 map way before the popular Super Mario 64 map by vinnyz500. From that on, lots of maps are just click and it'll install to this "mods" folder automatically. Then, go to %AppData%, Local, Activision, CodWaW, there, create a folder called "mods" alongside the "players" folder. To install maps/mods, of course first install the game, best to launch the game and fiddle with settings, who knows. UGX-Mods, ZomMods, ZombieModding, COD-France, Call of Duty Repo Here, these are sites that I find maps/mods to play for World at War. lastly, if you bought the game within 14 days and your playtime is still less than 2 hours, you can consult for a refund on steam. custom content in cod: waw started to become popular around 2012-13 (there are maps created before then, of course) and it doesn't require a PhD degree to download & install a custom map. activision very rarely updates their old games anyway and cod: waw remained the same as it was.Įven though steam workshop obviously makes things more convenient, I just want to say I'm glad that players like you are minority in zombie community. there are a few modding-friendly games I know (skyrim, civ 5) which released before steam workshop was a thing, but game developers moved to steam workshop by releasing patches for their games. Steam workshop was introduced by valve sometime around 2012. Had i known that WAW didn't have a workshop, i never would have purchased it.
